This self-paced course simplifies the process of audience analysis. The included tools take you through the process of audience analysis in a practical way. This course will support your efforts to create a new course, presentation, or marketing campaign. The materials will take approximately 15 min to view. You can also use the course to coach or mentor you through your first audience analysis.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

1. Explain why it is important to identify your target audience before creating content.
2. Perform an audience analysis, and identify your target audience.
3. Describe the purpose of personas, and create personas for your project.
4. List four adult learning principles, and explain why they are important in creating engaging content.
